By popular demand we are having our conference dinner at Sardi's Restaurant on Sunday 7/17 at 6pm. In the heart of New York's Theater District, Sardi's has been the toast of Broadway for 90 years. Located at 234 West 44th Street it is a 15 minute walk or easy subway ride from the Roosevelt. Map
Dinner is a separate charge in addition to the conference fee. There will be a cash bar.
The conference dinner is a benefit for Behind the Scenes Foundation which is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization established in early 2005 to create and support charitable programs for the entertainment technology industry. Behind the Scenes issues grants to entertainment technology professionals in need due to serious illness or injury that may be used for basic living, medical or related expenses. $75.00 of the dinner fee will go directly to Behind the Scenes. You will receive a tax receipt from Behind the Scenes.
The guest speaker at the dinner with be Michael Maag, Resident Lighting and Projection Designer for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and founding member of the performance art group Sonoluminescence.
Due to space limitations at the restaurant, attendance is limited to the first 150 people who sign up for the dinner.
