
Kitty Devany Vitale (she/her/hers) is a Production Manager and Lighting Designer based in Oklahoma City. She currently serves as the Technical Director for the Civic Center Foundation which manages the three theatres and two event spaces within Civic Center Music Hall as well as the Hudiburg Chevrolet Center on the campus of Rose State College. Through her work with the Civic Center Foundation, she's become very familiar with the care and feeding of aging orchestra shells and is happy to be a part of this panel sharing both firsthand experiences and those of her predecessors.
Kitty received her MFA in Theatre Design and Production from the University of Memphis. Since then she's has traveled the world working for Norwegian Cruise Line, Managed scenic builds for Broadway as a Project Manager at Cigar Box Studios, Inc., in New York, and many summers in Virginia working for Charlottesville Opera Company (nee Ash Lawn Opera) as Company Manager. She has worked with several OKC companies since moving there in 2016 including the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, and Oklahoma City University. In addition to her responsibilities with the Civic Center Foundation, Kitty currently sits on the board for the TheatreCrude Fringe Festival in OKC.
