John Gebbie
In 1996 Mr. Gebbie began his entertainment lighting career working for Strand Lighting as Technical Specialist on many projects, including the Broadway musical Ragtime, the Philadelphia Academy of Music and Bally's Wild, Wild West Casino in Atlantic City. As Lead Project Manager for Barbizon New York beginning in 1998 he was responsible for the installation of the installation of lighting systems including the American Museum of Natural History's Rose Center for Earth and Space, and Broadway's Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theater. Also, he acted as Field Project Coordinator for the Universal Studios' City Walk Theme park in Orlando, Florida.

In 2000 John was promoted to the Manager of the Systems Division and in September 2010, John has expanded his role to include Domestic and International Business Development. He assists with the development and growth of this new location as well as identifying new business locally and abroad for Barbizon.

With diverse knowledge in film, television and theatrical production, Mr. Gebbie provides a wide range of experience in the integration of complex lighting systems. Most recently John completed the spire lighting atop of One World Trade Center at ground zero.
