David H. Rosenburg
David has been a project manager with Theatre Projects since 1997. In that time, he has successfully coordinated design team efforts in the completion of more than 100 performing arts projects. David works with clients and the design team to program and plan their theatres and coordinates the design team’s efforts on projects. His work includes such venues as Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre (Atlanta), James Madison University, Forbes Center for the Performing Arts (Harrisburg, VA), Queen’s University, Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts (Kingston, ON, Canada), Virginia Tech, Moss Arts Center (Blacksburg, VA), and Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles Music Center (Los Angeles).

David has an extensive background as a theatrical lighting designer, production manager, technical director, and stage manager. He was the associate lighting designer for the Broadway production of Our Town with Paul Newman. For 15 years he toured worldwide with prominent dance companies. His designs can be seen in the repertories of The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Donald Byrd/The Group, The Dance Exchange, Le Conservatoire National Superior de Paris, Atlanta Ballet, and Oregon Ballet Theatre. His work has taken him throughout western and eastern Europe as well as the Paris Opera (Garnier), the Kennedy Center, and Lincoln Center.

David regularly speaks at industry conferences, including the 2012 NATEAC presentation, “The Perfect Client,” which addressed the relationship between clients and their projects. He has also spoken on topics such as sustainability and accessibility at conferences including the Society for College and University Planning and the International Association of Venue Managers Performing Arts Managers Conference.
David is a member of the American Society of Theatre Consultants and is a founding member of the Boston Alliance of

Theatrical Artists. David received his Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Lighting from Boston University.
