Colton Trout
Head Carpenter, Civic Center Music Hall, Oklahoma City (he/him/his)
Colton first started working at Civic Center Music Hall ten years ago, working with several resident companies, including the Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma City Ballet.   He then went from being a part-timer, serving both the Civic Center Music Hall and the Hudiburg Chevrolet Center, to becoming the full-time House Carpenter for the CCMH in 2018. The Thelma Gaylord Theatre at the CCMH houses four main automated systems: the over-stage acoustical ceiling, the forestage reflector, the variable acoustics curtains and the GALA stage lifts.   Colton worked alongside former House Carpenters and Technical Directors to inspect and service these systems, and he is now responsible for the training and oversight of their operation.
Colton lives in Edmond with his dogs, Flower and Harper.
